Service Description

This introduction to the blacksmithing class is for people who have never forged steel before But want to really dive in to the craft. The skilled instructor will teach you forging mechanics, hammer control, and proper forging techniques as you create several projects: Some practice pieces, a Set of Decorative wall hooks, Large Roasting fork, The last day is spent on a project you design yourself using the available materials and your new forging skills! Each project builds a skill set that is reinforced and expanded upon in the next project! In a single weekend, this blacksmithing class will take you from an interest in blacksmithing to actually producing forged ironwork. We break for lunch around noon for 45mins. There are plenty of places to go nearby or you can store and prep your sack lunch in our kitchenette. If you would like to pay in full online please contact us at 970-215-4666. This class runs on specified weekends: Friday 6-9 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a class at least a week in advance and use the full deposit towards any other class for up to 1 year. Complete cancelation results in $50 fee No-shows and last-minute cancelations (6 days before or less) forfeit the entire deposit. We reserve the right to cancel classes with low enrollment (less than 3). The warning will be given a week in advance.
