Bladesmithing: Meat Cleaver Some experience necessary. In this class the student will see demonstrated one technique of forging a Meat Cleaver, discussing three heat treating techniques as well as several techniques of making and fitting a guard and handle and seeing one used in finishing a blade of this sort. Learn about the designs of various types of cleavers. Then design, forge, grind, heat treat and handle the blade of your design. Handle and blade materials will be available at class. But you can contact us for more info if you'd like to bring your own.
You can cancel a class at least a week in advance and use the full deposit towards any other class for up to 1 year. Complete cancelation results in $50 fee No shows and last-minute cancelations (6 days before or less) forfeit the entire deposit.
