Level 1  or equivalent required While learning core blacksmithing skills, and heat-treating techniques students will further their skill at manipulating hot steel, students will learn how to forge a custom blacksmith's Cross Pein, Straight pein, Rounding, or Dogs-head bladesmithing hammer. In this class, you will learn proper hardening, tempering, and heat treatment applications. This class focuses on basic double striking, but will also add some Hydraulic Press, and Power Hammer skills to your toolbox. ​If you would like to pay in full online please contact us at 970-215-4666. This class runs on specified weekends: Friday 6-9 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm. If you cancel a class, there is a $50 cancellation fee. You can also cancel and use the full deposit towards any other class for up to 1 year.

Cancelation Policy

You can cancel a class at least a week in advance and use the full deposit towards any other class for up to 1 year. Complete cancelation results in $50 fee No shows and last-minute cancelations (6 days before or less) forfeit the entire deposit.
