  • Our weekend classes are Fri. 6-9pm, Sat. and Sun. 9am - 4pm.  Week-long classes are Monday through Friday.  

  • Blacksmithing classes are limited to 8 students and usually fill quickly, a 50% refundable deposit reserves your spot. 

  • We offer accommodations for up to two students for $30 per night which include access to hot showers and a small kitchen facility.

  • Gift Cards- To purchase a gift certificate for someone else please fill out a registration form on the booking page! The Gift Cards are redeemable for any date and can be used to pay the difference for a more expensive class.

Registration Details:

  • Age limit is 15 years old due to physical demands

  • To enroll in a blacksmithing class simply fill out the form below.

  • Submit your deposit of  50% by mail or Paypal.

  • Balance is due when you arrive for your blacksmithing class.

  • We accept checks, cash in person, Visa/MC and Paypal.

  • Indicate in Comments if you would like to lodge with us for $30 a night.

  • If you prefer to register over the phone, call Otto (970)-215-4666.

  • If you cancel a class, there is a $50 cancellation fee. You can also cancel and use the full deposit towards any other class for up to 1 year.

Questions On Blacksmithing Classes:


General Information:

  • Weekend classes are Fri 6 - 9 pm, Sat & Sun 9 am - 4 pm.

  • Week-long blacksmithing classes run Mon - Fri 9 - 4 pm.

  • Blacksmithing classes are for men, women and youth age 15 and over.  Blacksmithing classes for 10-14-year-olds are offered on occasion - email us to express your interest.

  • When using the proper techniques, strength is not an indicator of success in our blacksmithing classes.

  • Students should wear natural fiber clothes such as cotton, full-length pants and close-toed shoes to blacksmithing classes.  Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty.

  • We suggest you bring a notebook and pen.

  • Safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves are provided.

  • No meals are provided. Restaurants and a grocery store are a short distance away. We can provide transportation. You are also welcome to use a small kitchen with microwave, hotplate and toaster oven to prepare meals at the school.
