Higher skilled levels of Blacksmithing will be taught in 4 one week classes a year. These classes will focus on a group project where everyone works together to create one piece. This will include design, drawings, forging, assembly and different finishes to create a well rounded experience. While these will be fairly intense classes, they will be for people wanting to learn the skills of hand forging with intent. Some previous skill will be needed. David Norrie has been a professional Blacksmith for 34 years. He brings this experience to help students have a clear understanding of Blacksmithing.

The classes will be held at the Davita Art Farm Blacksmithing Center, a 106 year old farm at the base of the Rocky mountains, 45 miles north of Denver, Colorado. Lodging is provided for students traveling from out of the area. Call or write for information and scheduling.
